New Wind Mitigation Form for 2012

There is a new Uniform Mitigation form that is to start being used as of February 1st, 2012 unless that changes... we all know how fast an insurance carrier can change things with very little notice. I recently attended a Florida Home & Insurance Inspectors Chapter of NACHI meeting addressing  the changes and and how the new form is to be interpreted.

There are significant changes on roof covering, roof geometry, and roof to wall connections and on  how it is to be determined. We are up to date and have the new forms ready to go.
